UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Indonesia Become Foreign Tourist Favourites



Indonesia has a lot of tourist products, one of them even made ​​a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Apparently, this kind of tourist site is the favorite of foreign tourists.

Borobudur, Komodo National Park, Prambanan Temple, Ujung Kulon National Park, Sangiran, Lorentz National Park, Tropical Rainforest of Sumatra, and Subak in Bali are several UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Indonesia. Besides having a special status because it protected the United Nations, these sites are also popular with the foreign tourists.

" For UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is usually the favorite of foreign tourists, especially those from Europe, " said Esthy Reko Astuti, Director General of Tourism Marketing of Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.

Foreign tourists, he said, was more appreciative of the presence of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Indonesia by making brothels destination. However, it does not mean not be attention of local travelers.

" Local tourists have also started many who like to visit. Probably looks a lot more foreign tourists in their country because there is nothing like this in Indonesia, " said Esthy.

UNESCO World Heritage Site, added Esthy, has been promoted as a tourist destination special interest in Indonesia. " In addition to 16 destinations promoted by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, there are also seven special interest tourism, and heritage of the world is one of them, " she concluded.
