Toshiba, a Japanese technology company, made the fastest MicroSD external memory card in the world. This product became the industry's first memory card that makes classification High-Speed UHS-II Interface Standard.
Toshiba's latest product is supplied in two storage capacity options, the 32 GB and 64 GB. Unfortunately, in a press release, Toshiba has not been informed about the price of the product.
A memory card with a capacity of 32 GB has a maximum read speed of 260 MBps and write speeds up to 240 MBps. Meanwhile, with a capacity of 64 GB cards have a maximum read speed of 145 MBps and write speeds up to 130 MBps.
Read speed of this new product possessed 2.7 times faster, while its wrote speed 8 times faster than the Toshiba MicroSD card included in the classification UHS-II Interface Standard.
With Ultra High Speed Class 3 ( U3 ) that it has, the MicroSD is claimed to be able to keep the video resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels ( 4K ) with a write speed of 30 MBps. It means, a camera that records video using the memory card has a stable image quality is maintained.
This product is also claimed to be faster in data transfer, for instance when the data download movies or music on smart phones, tablets, and other portable devices.
