Mumbai Airport Have Largest Museum in India



Airport generally is a passenger arrival and departure terminals. But, this airport is not just a passenger arrival and departure terminals. Mumbai Airport in India is so pretty, it even looks like an art gallery.

Tourists who come to the new T2 terminal at Mumbai airport waiting for a flight to spend time looking at the art exhibition at the terminal. This art exhibition adorning the airport terminal along three kilometers beautifuly.

The artwork on display include ancient artifacts from across India. Also, wood picture-frame from Rajasthan and other art objects typical of India. It all makes the T2 terminal at Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport Mumbai, India, looks so impressive.

The exhibition is part of the museum in the airport. Precisely there are approximately 7,000 works of art in the museum, making it the largest museum in India.

" Our museum is divided into 28 parts, each part has its own curator, " said a spokesman for the Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport, as quoted by the SMH, Tuesday ( 22/04/2014 ).

The museum is also expected to become the most visited museum tourists. Because the Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji airport itself bypassed by 40 million passengers each year, exceeding the Louvre Museum in Paris which visited only 10 million tourist per year.
