Google develop Fiber technology that enables high-speed internet access. These technologies are limited to certain areas in the United States.
Reported Maximumpc, Monday ( 04/28/2014 ), limited to the area Kansas City, Provo and Austin, Google Fiber is also expected to be ready expands to reach other areas. Earlier this year, the giant search engine was invited 34 cities in the U.S. to work in the Google Fiber project.
With Fiber technology, Google can provide internet and TV services based FTTP ( fiber to the premises ). In a document that is accessible IDG News Service, Google said that the selected cities in the U.S. will discuss the plan related to WiFi and other requirements.
Google's long-term plan document does not mention the technical details. " We are pleased to provide WiFi access for all Fiber town, but we do not have specific plans to announce at this time, " Google wrote in a statement .
The company which headquartered in Mountain View is asked for each of the 34 cities in the U.S. for more information on maps, pipelines or canals, gas, electricity and others. We await that information until May 1. The company hopes to unveil the next city to receive Google Fiber to the end of 2014.
