About Paramore

Paramore is a band from the United States that was formed in 2004. This band is based in Franklin, Tennessee. Currently they are composed of three members, namely vocalist Hayley Williams, bassist Jeremy Davis, and guitarist Taylor York. Since forming, they have released 3 studio-album (All We Know Is Falling, Riot!, And Brand New Eyes) and one EP (The Summer Tic EP) and a live album (The Final Riot!).

Paramore was formed in 2004 in Franklin, Tennessee, United States by vocalist Hayley Williams, lead guitarist Josh Farro and drummer Zac Farro, and bassist Jason Clarke. However, when they will enter into the world of major labels, the labels do not agree with the existence of Taylor York and Jason Clarke. Then Hayley brought bassist Jeremy Davis and guitarist Jason Bynum to replace them, and the label agreed. Paramore then signed to Fueled by Ramen in April 2005. The name itself Paramore reportedly taken from the name of the mother of their first bassist.

2005-2006 : All We Know Is Falling

Their first album , entitled All We Know Is Falling , and was released in July 2005 . From the album they released three singles , namely : Pressure , Emergency , and All We Know . Even so , the album was made ​​without the presence of bassist Jeremy Davis . That is because just before the recording process , Jeremy decided to quit the band . Therefore , the album was released with only 4 personnel are credited . Actually the departure of Jeremy have a large impact on the time of Paramore , Hayley and it inspired to write the song All We Know , which in the song contains the line " All We Know Is Falling " . On this album also contained the song Conspiracy , which is the first song co-written by all personnel . In the song " My Heart " there is only one scream of Josh Farro as backing vocals .


During the tour AWKIF , Paramore recruit John Hembree as bassist for the tour. Although so , not long after Paramore's Jeremy rejoined on bass of course. When the Emergency Paramore released as the second single from the album , Jason Bynum is no longer was in Paramore and replaced by Hunter Lamb. In 2007 , Hunter Lamb also decided to leave the band to get married .

2007-2008 : Riot ! and other projects

With consists of 4 people , Paramore released their second album is Riot ! in June 2007 . From the album they released four singles : Misery Business , Hallelujah , Crushcrushcrush , and That's What You Get . Their first single , missery Business , received positive reviews and became instant hits , making the name Paramore getting jumped .

During the tour Riot ! , They recruited their old friend , Taylor York , as an additional guitarist for the tour. In February 2008 , Paramore cancel six concerts in Europe to resolve their internal problems surrounding the band. Under all that pressure they released the single That 's What You Get in March 2008. However , after the band seemed to resolve internal problems, in May 2008 claimed that Hayley will be on tour Paramore The Final Riot ! . In this tour , they recorded their concert to make a live album called " The Final Riot ! " which was released in November 2008 .


In October 2008 released a single titled Paramore Decode taken from the OST . Twilight Saga . They contribute to give 2 songs on the OST is Decode and I Caught Myself. In November , a video clip from the premiere Decode start . " Decode " under the name of the movie Twilight brings Paramore increasingly popular , especially among young women drama fans . " Decode " was nominated at the MTV movie awards for "Best Soundtrack ".

2009-2010 : Brand New Eyes and exit of the Farro brothers

In 2009 , Paramore released their third album titled " Brand New Eyes " on September 29, which coincides on the anniversary of their guitarist , Josh Farro. In this album , Taylor York has been a permanent member of Paramore , so this time they released an album with 5 personnel. Paramore stated that the album had to strengthen their relationship as a band , having previously had been a rift . That's why they gave the name of the album " Brand New Eyes " which describes a new angle of each personnel . From the album they released 5 singles : Ignorance , Brick By Boring Brick , The Only Exception , Careful , and Playing God . 


On December 18, 2010, through Paramore 's official website, they stated that brothers Josh Farro and Zac Farro of Paramore's official exit. Hayley said that lately they 've been unhappy in Paramore. However, with 3 personnel, Hayley Williams , Jeremy Davis , and Taylor York states to continue what they have played so far. On December 22 , Josh , through a controversial blog, tells his own version of the reasons him and his sister out of Paramore .

2011-present Paramore without the Farro brothers

On January 10, 2011, in an interview with MTV, Hayley Williams said that despite the band losing two of the founding members, they will be releasing new music in 2011 , although it is not known whether they will be able to record a full album for release this year , or just release some songs. They also admitted that Paramore's style was likely to change with the new lineup , but clarified that the band would still retain their vote.

On February 2, 2011 , Josh Farro confirmed the name of his new band , Novel American. Zac has also confirmed his new band , Half Noise.

On March 21, 2011 , Paramore stated on their various social networks report that they entered a Los Angeles studio with producer Rob Cavallo to record their next album. On June 7, 2011, Paramore released the single " Monster ", entered the  Transformers : Dark of the Moon - The Album. This is the first song that the band released without the Farro brothers.


On June 9, 2011 , Hayley Williams announced that the band began writing their fourth album , which they hope to start recording at the end of the year , hoping for release in early 2012 .
